Cyber Security & Smart Factory Leadership

We are looking for a Smart Factory Leader for Tlaxcala Plant 1

This position is in the Supply Chain Performance team for Tlaxcala Plant 1 and is accountable for implementing continuous improvement via digital transformation, This position will focus heavily on digital transformation in Engineered-To-Order (ETO) and Configure-To-Order (CTO) processes.

More specifically, this Smart Factory Engineer will be tasked with deployment of 4IR technologies adopted as the core of the Smart Factory toolset. The Smart Factory toolset consists of standard hardware/software tools encompassing IIoT, Cloud, Mobility, and Analytics.

The Smart Factory Engineer should engage with performance team to implement/support such deployment activities on applicable plant 4, where the task may consist of the following:

• Process improvement through digital transformation
• Process strategy and execution
• Process mapping in relation to ERP and MES softwares.
• Deployment of MES
• Data connectivity specification development for ERP and MES softwares
• Smart Factory Minimum Mandatory Requirements (MMR)
• Strategic definition of MMR
• Implementation / support of MMR deployment
• Change Management
• Leading digital transformation adoption in facilities

• Local Subject Matter Expert- LDS/DISS

o Lean Digitization System (LDS) & Digital Idea & SIM System (DISS)

§ Training

§ Enhancement Requests

§ POC Escalations / Troubleshooting

• Innovation
• New technology POC
• Identify problems common to the manufacturing process.
• Research new 4IR technologies (AR/VR, 5G, AI, etc.)
• Implement / report findings and execute on scale

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of ETO/CTO products and processes

• ERP Experience

o Knowledge of SAP Bridge & S4 Hana operation

• MES Experience

o Knowledge of MES application.

• Data Connectivity Experience

o Knowledge of ERP/MES integration .

• Work ethic

o Capable of self-start learning

§ Able to research and learn with minimal training

§ Aggressively seeks documentation self-learns

o Positive and engaged as a change agent for new technologies and digital transformation with plant resources

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science with technology focus.

• 3-5 years of experience in field digital transformation and industrial processes

• Working knowledge of 4IR technologies and their application.

o Cloud applications

§ AWS / Azure experience is a bonus

§ SE IDS experience is a bonus
