Cyber Security Systems Engineer 1

Job Summary: Cole Engineering Services is seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide systems administration, cybersecurity, and account management support for the Joint Cyber Training Enterprise Technical Operations Management program.

Essential Job Functions:

• Create user accounts and assist the support desk content issues as required.
• Performs resource management across all PCTE enclaves utilizing Grafana, and vSphere to monitor and maintain the system.
• Utilize Grafana dashboards, Jira Service Manager tools to monitor and maintain the system.
• Satisfy end user account support requests and utilize metrics to continually improve.
• Support systems across the spectrum of Unclassified, Secret, and Sec/REL and Top-Secret levels.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated an understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Identity Management (IdM) and Single Sign On (SSO) using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
• Attention to detail ensuring usernames have been accurately entered with less than 5% error limiting follow on correction actions.
• Analyzes real world problems and implements solutions according to corporate guidelines and procedures, and industry best practices.
• Provides professional-level IT, virtual environment, and network support functions.
• Must be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and able to work with a range of engineers holding a diverse set of skills at differing levels of experience.
• Be sensitive and flexible to the needs and requirements of the customer.

• Interact with vendors/users/customers and developers to understand needs and operational requirements changes that will impact the production environment.
• Ability to solve technical problems involving a variety of integrated software and hardware platforms.

Required Education/Experience:

• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater certification such as Security+, CISSP or other equivalent certification.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline such as information technology, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.

Other Requirements:

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status and a TS/SCI security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
