Cyber Software Engineer II - Knowledge Manager/SharePoint Developer

Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Cyber Software Engineer II - Knowledge Manager/SharePoint Developer for a position in Augusta, GA.

Responsibilities

Front-end SharePoint designer/developer with comprehensive knowledge to create custom SharePoint/web pages including automated workflows.

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:• Update and maintain the cybersecurity division knowledge web page on NIPR• Develop a JWICS division page based on specific requirements• Develop a SW/HW APL SharePoint workflow and design APL homepage• Translate manual processes and recommend automated workflows to improve effectiveness and efficiency across the division• Provide direct support for optimizing the use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization.• Collaborate with DoD staff personnel to elicit and document website requirements to design new functionality within SharePoint sites.

Hours: HQ INSCOM core hours are 0900 - 1500. HQ INSCOM personnel and Contractor personnel are expected to work an 8-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek. Prior to working outside of normal hours of operation, coordination must be made with the Government team lead and the INSCOM COR for approval.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Clearance Required: TS/SCI (Poly Preferred)
• Requires appropriate DoD 8570.01 baseline certification prior to beginning work.
• Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II qualifying certification.
• Education/Experience: BS with 10-12 years experience, MS with 8-10 years experience, PhD with 5-7 years experience. Will consider: HS with 11-14 years, BA/BS with 5-10 years, or MA/MS with 3-6 years.
• At least 2 years of experience with SharePoint
• Advanced understanding of programming languages and collaboration software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products (SharePoint, Windows Server, SQL Server) and Programming languages (C#.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET)
• Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.
• Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with SharePoint's application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services.

Prefer:

• Knowledge and experience with virtualization
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• Microsoft MCPD 70-576, SharePoint 2010/2013 Designing and Developing Applications certification.
• Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQL data.
