JMN is part of the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). Research and development programs focus on tools and services to enhance cyber operations.

Job Description: Cyber SME II a highly skilled and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert. As a key member of our Federal Services team, you will provide strategic and technical guidance to support both Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial customers in the development and implementation of their cybersecurity programs, operations, training initiatives, and cyber ranges. There are limited travel requirements for this position. We are looking for a high energy and dynamic Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert with a broad and deep understanding of cybersecurity operations.

Required Skills/Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on strategy, technical guidance, and operations

• Strong knowledge of DoD and commercial cybersecurity operations, policy, and doctrine

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)

• Expertise in full-spectrum cybersecurity operations

• Operational military and contractor experience supporting DoD cyber programs.

• Strong analytic abilities and meticulous and careful in their work

• Independent thinker capable of working proficiently independently as well as within a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders at all levels of Customer organization.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive security initiatives forward.

• Willingness and ability to contribute at a technical level.

• Active TS//SCI Security Clearance

• Location negotiable, prefer SE region. Relocation assistance possible.

• US Citizen/US Resident required with active TS Security Clearance

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with software development projects
