Department & Team Overview:

Cyber Security is the protection of BBH and client data that has been entrusted to BBH. The Cyber Security Monitoring Analyst Team (MAT) is responsible for the planning, analysis and execution of key Cyber Monitoring business objectives or projects within agreed upon time frames and quality standards. The MAT is responsible for following the guidelines and framework surrounding the Cyber Monitoring Team's activity and to ensure that all monitoring related requirements as specified in the Cyber Monitoring's Policies, Standards and Procedures are adhered to. The team is responsible for being able to analyze security and access controls on core platforms and applications, how and where (user) activity is captured and stored, the types of activity that should be monitored, and the means by which that activity can be monitored. Additionally, the team will be responsible for the preservation of evidence and documentation for monitoring requests. The team interfaces with a variety of technical SME's and technology leaders within the organization to both share the corporate information security vision and to solicit involvement in achieving higher levels of enterprise security through information sharing, innovation, and co-operation.

Role & Responsibilities:

We're looking to hire Cyber Technology Monitoring Lead, having responsibilities that include coverage for Privileged Access Monitoring initiatives & Configuration Management initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Provide monitoring of privileged access and unauthorized access to infrastructure assets.
• Assist in SIEM alert configuration through research/analysis of incoming logs consisting of system logs, network traffic, IDS/IPS sensor data, firewall logs, etc.
• Perform investigations on information security and cyber incidents.
• Maintain a strong code of confidentiality based on the sensitivity of the work being performed.
• Recommend expansion areas for additional monitoring coverage based upon risks/threats.
• Possess and maintain a baseline understanding and wide application of security-related tools, including advanced threat detection, SIEM technology, internet and web-filtering, and other related tools. General knowledge of other related disciplines including servers, workstations, software, and network-related technology.
• Provides technical contributions to a wide range of difficult problems.
• Assists Cyber development team on any Cyber and technology related initiatives as needed.
• Utilizes incident lessons-learned to apply appropriate technical recommendations to new implementations or architecture.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science/ Information Systems and/or 6+ years equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience within the monitoring function of an Information Security organization.
• Good understanding of network security, cyber security threats and monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS, Firewall).
• 2+ years SIEM Technology Administration (Certified Administrator preferred)
• 2+ years of working with SIEM tools performing deployment, configuration, and maintaining operations, content development.
• Strong understanding of Security Frameworks (COBIT or NIST).
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, works within the team and with outside contacts.
• Extensive problem solving, organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $210,000, which is specific to New York, NY and Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
