Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst
Located at Rocket Lab HQ, Long Beach California. The Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst will be responsible for establishing, documenting, and monitoring Rocket Lab’s Information System Security Implementation plan to ensure compliance to NIST standards globally.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
- Develop System Security Plan and execute on a global Plan of Actions and Milestones that represents Rocket Lab USA, Rocket Lab New Zealand, and our 4 acquired companies, to achieve CMMC compliance.
- Architect cybersecurity and information technology solutions for the newly formed Rocket Lab National Security company to support our growth into government sector.
- Leverage modern information security technology to protect assets a high-tech company that is under continual threat from advisories as well as insider risks.
- Lead implementation of information security policies at Rocket Lab
- Provide technical leadership and expertise, laying a foundation of cyber security protection for rapidly growing organization.
- Work with a team of world class IT, engineering, and business professionals.
YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in technology and information security
- Experience implementing with NIST 800-53, 800-171, ISO27001, and CMMC controls
- Experience with modern information security software, including operations and management of end point protection
- Bachelors Degree

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:
- Professional security management certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification
- Experience performing IT/IS security risk assessments, audits, and manages/conducts security incident investigations
- Security Clearance
