The Opportunity

As an cybersecurity compliance program lead with a background in Cyber Compliance do you aspire to contribute to a vision of being best in class in cybersecurity can you understand and interpret laws, regulations, and directives within the hitachi energy business context, and coordinate necessary activities across the organization to ensure compliance and interacting with both technical and business staff on all seniority levels help the organization continually improve its cybersecurity footprint via its compliance programs In this role you would be a valued member of a global organizational cybersecurity compliance team and would drive the cybersecurity compliance program strive for excellence. You will have the exciting opportunity to build dynamic, collaborative relationships with a diverse array of internal stakeholders across Hitachi Energy. Your role will be pivotal in fostering teamwork and driving innovation within the organization!

How you'll make an impact

  • Join our compliance by leading and coordinating actions related to the cyber resiliency act, the EU NIS 2.0 Directive, and all present and future cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Your leadership in project management will help us maintain our commitment to achieving top-notch cybersecurity compliance, protecting our organization while enhancing our operational excellence.
  • Become a part of our team and lead the way in cybersecurity advancements.

Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a similar discipline is required, with a master's degree being highly desirable.
  • Prior work experience in IT, or cybersecurity compliance IT project management & project coordination nice to have qualification or experience in legal topics.
  • Proven ability to work globally, in an international organization, with diverse personalities and diverse cultures exposure to working in a global organizational environment.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work in different time zones especially overlapping USA time zones and virtual environments.
  • Proficient in english, with solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preference to candidates located in Sweden however, consideration for position may be in any country with Hitachi Energy presence. Regular interaction with teams located in Asia, Europe, and North America is required. Some travel will be required.
