D/C Loss Prevention Specialist

Job Summary:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policy relative to security, safety, property, parking and associate conduct.
• Guards against damage, fire, theft, trespassing and illegal entry.
• Conducts periodic tours of buildings and grounds.
• Check visitors or associate's identification for facility entry/access, parcels and packages.
• Monitors CCTV cameras and access to high-risk areas.
• This position has a starting pay range of $19.50 to $20.10 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by several factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Duties and Responsibility:

• Checking visitors or associate identification for facility entry/access, checks parcels, packages and all sample merchandise removed from facility.
• Check documentation and paperwork. Ensures that company security procedures are properly followed.
• Monitors CCTV cameras and access to high-risk areas. Maintains logs and prepares reports as necessary.
• Conducts periodic tours about buildings and grounds, examines doors, windows, alarms, gates, and shipping and receiving areas to ensure proper security.
• Monitor's shipping and receiving docks and trailer yard activities. Inspects seals on trucks arriving with merchandise and locks and seals on departing trucks with merchandise.
• Reviews bills of lading and manifests to accurately record seal documents. Observe traffic patterns of trucks entering and leaving the facility. Inspects trailers as necessary and maintains records of trucks, deliveries, destinations, etc.
• Assists in investigations as necessary.
• Performs other duties as required or directed.

Essential Job Requirements:

• One or more years of Loss Prevention experience preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
• Maintains a professional manner and can effectively handle all situations.
