Jockey is seeking a D365 Architect to join our IT team!

This position will serve as a highly-proactive technology leader with the ability to provide high-level and detailed technical guidance, design and delivery to project teams and business user customers. The D365 Architect will be expected to have a strong understanding of the Jockey technology landscape, business strategy goals, related IT roadmap, and embedded ERP solution strategy to drive business value for our business users. Key to this role is being able to provide clearly documented solutions, identify gaps, opportunities, and remedies in short order.

This position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Demonstrate expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O in one or more solution areas (E.g., Finance, Sales) with a focus on the Supply Chain and Planning solutions.
  • Ownership of the D365 F&O system.
  • Play an active role in new demand generation and lead the requirement qualification process with the business stakeholders.
  • Drive the demand realization and implementation with internal and/or external partners.
  • Responsible for the overall end-to-end solution quality end and drive continuous improvements E.g., stabilization and automatization.
  • Proactively lead the technical and functional relationship with our customers.
  • Conceptualize, develop, communicate, and propose solutions that will drive our growth and lead directly to top and bottom-line results.
  • Get involved in the detailed technical discussions; speak up and provide solutions.
  • Facilitate solution reviews and identify any gaps and issues.
  • Ensure architectural design work is completed on-time and adheres to the established specifications and standards.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies, industry trends, and best practices, which should be incorporated into the policies & roadmap. Implement their development and initial application use cases.
  • Ensure architecture designs consider functionality, cost, performance, scalability, reusability, and extensibility.
  • Facilitates the architecture processes, including the reporting and oversight of architecture deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance for projects, including consulting with project teams to ensure the appropriate architectural options are used. Provide architectural expertise and assistance to other Project Managers to facilitate the delivery of solutions that meet business objectives in a cost-efficient manner.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a mentor and trainer for ERP Analysts that support the business.
  • Provide best practices and out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot architecture-related issues in a timely fashion.
  • Working technical knowledge of integration strategies, including web services.
  • May prepare schedules or proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with data security policies and procedures.
  • Being an effective advocate of the use of technology through sharing, defending, and promoting his or her views and thoughts, and presenting information in a highly credible manner to clients, stakeholders, and employees.
  • Must be willing and able to "roll up the sleeves."
  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character who has demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience as solution architecture/owner across multiple D365 F&O end-to-end full lifecycle deployments
  • Proven experience in developing technology strategies, leading systems design and development and enabling solution acceptance.
  • Previous work with core enterprise applications, including ERP and international financial software.
  • Hands-on experience with application development tools and understanding of application development best practices.
  • Practical experience in leveraging prevalent methodologies (waterfall/agile/hybrid/DevOPS etc.) in deploying business solutions is required.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
  • Ability to understand business issues and related impact to be able to prioritize and deliver solution & support that is cost effective, efficient, and continuously improving to deliver incremental benefits to the customers.
  • Extensive experience in:

    • Engaging business customers & managing customer expectations
    • Developing & managing strategic relationships with product and Service vendors
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills.
  • Project team management experience including dealing with budget, vendors, and helping create a positive work environment.
