D365 Business Central Core Consulting Associate - Summer 2024 Summary:
As a Business Applications (BA) - D365 Business Central (BC) Associate you will be a valued member of a team using a defined project methodology to develop and implement various modules of D365 BC. Your development and technical skills in D365 BC will allow you to work in confidence and ensure your success, as well as the success of your projects.
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation of D365 BC and its add-on products
- Installation, training, upgrading, configuration, support, and documentation of D365 BC
- Ability to work closely with technical staff to define and document user requirements and functional specifications
- Ability to provide post-implementation support (help desk)
- Provide onsite and offsite consulting services and support to D365 BC clients
- Learn, utilize, and promote the RSM Project Implementation Methodology
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent IT degree
- Experience in a consulting environment strongly preferred
- General Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint, MS Business Intelligence)
- Ability to translate experience in distribution or manufacturing environments to creatively solve client business/application issues
- Experience with modeling business process and translating requirements into a business application
- Excellent presentation and communication skills targeted to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, and/or board of directors
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed
- Possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in person
- Experience with D365 BC Manufacturing and/or Warehouse Management (version 2013 or higher) a plus
- Ability to interface with clients both in person and remotely
- Advanced experience and demonstrated knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to learn new business processes or applications very quickly
- Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely in understandable form, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to interface with clients both in person and remotely
- Advanced experience and demonstrated knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to learn new business processes or applications very quickly
- Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely in understandable form, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Travel up to 75%
