The Danaher Business Systems Leader (DBSL), New Product Introductions is responsible for promotion, facilitation, and successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) including New Product Introductions (NPI) best practice Standard Work across our global NPI organization. The DBSL will assist with development of NPI Standard Work, as well as train, coach, and lead utilization and sustainment of these principles and approaches across our organization.

This position is based in Chaska, MN or Miami, FL.

Travel for this role is around 30%

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Teach, facilitate, and grow DBS Fundamentals utilization including NPI Standard Work across our global Beckman Coulter NPI organization.
• Champion development of a DBS roadmap in NPI through strategic planning in support of our new product roadmaps, then translate into measurable yearly targets and action plans.
• Assist in developing action plans improve NPI KPIs; track progress via daily management and deploy problem solving where required.
• Facilitate and/or conduct lean, growth, and leadership training programs and Kaizen events within NPI.
• Build and maintain a Kaizen Funnel across our NPI organization, prioritized to drive impact on critical KPIs.
• Utilize change management to influence DBS activities within NPI and with our global partners.
• Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in pertinent DBS tools (CP/ACP process for self and others)
• Work independently, in teams, and matrix environments across our global NPI organization
  The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience OR a master's degree with 7+ years of experience
• Science or Engineering background including experience, education, or skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency applying DBS Fundamental principles including Standard Work, Daily Management, and Change Management in a variety of situations resulting in proven process improvement.
• Ability to influence others - must be able to inform, convince, and persuade others at all levels of the organization to action on key initiatives.
• Teamwork/Collaboration - must be able to guide/facilitate a team(s).
• Independent worker, capable of operating with urgency in a fast-moving and fluid environment.
• Experience in an FDA regulated environment.
  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• DBS Tools experience, including all or some: Kaizen Basics, Problem Solving Process, Transactional Process Improvement, Visual Project Management, Production Preparation Process (3P), Danaher Materials System.
• Demonstrated ability to challenging the status quo and overcome opposition to change at all levels.
