About the role:
We have a unique opportunity for a Danaher Business Systems (DBS) Leader - driving continuous improvement initiatives onsite day to day. Based on lean manufacturing principles, DBS drives every aspect of our culture and performance, guiding what we do, measuring our execution, and improving each day. This person must be located in either the Eastern or Central time zones in the United States. Several locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available. This role will require 25% domestic travel to other operating sites.

What you'll do:
- Plan, facilitate, and implement of kaizen activities
- Ensure successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process (includes; (1) planning of kaizens with a dynamic funnel process tied to PD and Daily Management, (2) kaizen execution and (3) sustainment of kaizens)
- Assist in achieving Policy Deployment (PD) and Strategic Plan objectives
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools, consulting skills, and the change management process
- Assist site / company Leadership in the development of a DBS Roadmap (i.e., how to use the DBS tools to drive sustainable improvement in results)
- Directly provide training of DBS tools to all associates
- Communicate and drive "Best Practices" across the business and facilitate leadership benchmarking sessions
- Benchmark and incorporate best practices from other company locations
- Develop staff in DBS culture to meet business performance criteria
- Improve DBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools (Certified Practitioner and Certified Trainer process for self and others)
Are you qualified?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 years' experience with lean manufacturing required and Toyota Product Systems preferred
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes required
- Project management experience required
- Exposure to and participation in a variety of training environments preferred
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - 90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
