DAS Business Development Representative

position details/responsibilities

• Create proposals for clients to include but not limited to Public Safety and Cellular in-building distributed antenna systems (DAS) installations, along with Service / Testing / Inspections processes.
• Conduct bid walks and prepare bid documents.
• Integrate with DAS Estimating team for design and costing information.
• Work with project management teams and local jurisdiction to assist in understanding of local requirements for client interactions.
• Collaborate with the design and project management teams to develop innovative solutions for customer needs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with manufacturer representatives.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with potential clients and discuss expectations of the design.
• Attend tradeshows and industry trainings to maintain current product knowledge.
• Adhere to all occupational safety, health related laws, and governmental regulations applicable to DAS operations.

here's what we're looking for

• Must have at least 2-5 years of sales, business development and/or client engagement experience.
• Technical experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (RSI, ADRF, JMA, etc.) and building Life Safety Systems (Fire, Blue Light) is highly preferred.
• Certifications required within first year: (Anritsu, ADRF, JMA, etc.).
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent amount of industry-related experience required.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, employees and senior- level leadership.
• Ability to multi-task, handle contract negotiations, and work in a dead-line oriented environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 25-50% of the time; must possess a valid driver's license.
