CTS is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for enterprise cellular networks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for Enterprise.

PROJECT MANAGER / CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

The Project/ Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of installation work at customer locations / job sites to insure that the field crews and or technicians complete the assigned tasks, safely and to CTS standards of quality and professionalism. This would include managing any and all subcontractors / vendors who must also meet or exceed CTS standards for safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills as well as a professional demeanor, who strives to be the industry leader in his or her daily actions.

Desired Technical Skills/ Knowledge:

• A strong background with RF theory, specifically as it applies to DAS installations.
• Experience installing & managing DAS installations.
• Previous Site Survey experience - any design experience using iBwave a plus.
• Experience Commissioning, Optimizing & Troubleshooting DAS systems.
• Ability to read blue prints and Visio & iBwave drawings
• Thorough understanding of OTDR, Spectrum Analyzer (Anritsu), Signal Generator and similar test equipment.
• Thorough understanding of CAT 5/ Fiber/ Coax (1/2"+) installation, including sweep testing of coax & fiber.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is responsible for the management of multiple projects in a market as assigned. This responsibility includes management of all aspects of the projects from the handoff from sales/engineering to the completed project is closed out with head quarters. Project managers will track and report on the progress of assigned jobs to include but not limited to, maintaining the WIP report, financial progress reports, manpower usage etc.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activity of Field Managers assigned
• Responsible for the assigned projects from start to finish
• Proficient at project estimates & project scope
• Project Purchasing and Subcontracting Process
• Developing Project Schedules & Budgets to meet required goals
• Complete the project progress updates as required for jobs assigned.
• Verifying and approving vendor payments
• Working knowledge of the financial progress of assigned projects by using spectrum and tracking reports.
• Project closeout package preparation and submittal to customer
• Understanding of project invoicing and verification for billing projects
• Fully understand an iBwave design files used to build a project
• Proficient at producing a quote book / bill of materials for assigned projects based on design documents, walk notes and field input
• Proficient knowledge to turn-up and commission hardware for the assigned projects
• Safety Compliance Monitoring and documentation
• QA/QC of all projects assigned to meet CTS standards
• Weekly Reports/Updates on the financial statues of all projects
• Preparing the review package for end of project review with management
• Complete understanding of CTS Products and Services
• Sales / Customer Relations Management of projects assigned to include updates on project status
• Ability to complete iBwave designs for medium size projects
• Proficient at production of fiber diagrams, rack elevations, RF plumbing diagrams, block diagrams, and link budgets
