Role description: as the Data Analysis Team/Tech Lead, you will define metrics to track team performance, optimize request execution time, and streamline data management processes. You'll drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, implementing advanced data science solutions, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Execute data strategies and analytical best practices to drive insights that support revenue growth and operational optimization.
- Lead the design of new data-driven applications, select appropriate technologies, and approve technical solutions for project success.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure alignment on technical configurations, adherence to guidelines, and implementation of quality controls.
- Oversee data governance, privacy, and compliance, performing quality checks on data integrity and ensuring adherence to data standards.
- Implement advanced data science and machine learning solutions, analyze campaign data, and offer optimization insights.
- Act as a data analysis expert in client meetings, providing technical insights and strategic recommendations that meet project goals.
- Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and develop individual growth plans with regular skill assessments and support.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor team workflows, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous workflow improvements.
- Coordinate with other departments, the IT team, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and aligned infrastructure support.
- Identify and resolve technical issues early in projects, assist developers in problem-solving, and foster ongoing technical learning within the team.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in Data Analysis: 4-5 years of experience in leadership roles within data analysis, demonstrating a proven ability to address complex, non-standard challenges and develop customized solutions to meet business objectives.
- Data Modeling and Visualization: strong expertise in data modeling and data visualization design, including advanced skills in Power Query/DAX for efficient data transformation and insights delivery.
- Data Management and Preparation: proficiency in data collection, cleaning, and preparation techniques to ensure high-quality data for analysis, including best practices in predictive analysis.
- SQL and Database Proficiency: advanced knowledge of SQL for database management and manipulation, including experience with AWS Athena / Azure Data Exporter and other cloud-based data handling tools.
- Programming and Automation with Python: proficient in Python (including frameworks and libraries for data analysis), automation, and data science tasks; API integration and REST API principles.
- Power BI Administration and Reporting: expertise in Power BI for report creation, deployment, workspace management, and admin portal configuration, along with proficiency in Power BI Paginated Report Builder.
- Data Integration and API Management: skilled in integrating third-party APIs and managing data flow between systems, with experience using Postman for API testing and AWS Lambda / Azure Functions for data-driven solutions.
- Advanced Excel Skills: deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex functions, data analysis tools, and modeling capabilities essential for data preparation and reporting.
- Client Interaction and Collaboration: effective at collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, provide guidance, and deliver high-impact data solutions.
- Critical and Logical Thinking: strong logical and critical thinking skills to solve problems, design helpful solutions, and improve products, ensuring alignment with quality standards and best practices.
- English – Upper-Intermediate/Advanced
- Ukrainian – is a big plus
