Job Description
We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Data Analyst to join our amazing Data Science Team. If you're right at home with SQL, BI tools, data modeling, A/B testing, statistical analysis, anomaly detection, and opportunity exploitation, we want to hear from you. Our main tools include AWS Redshift, Looker, Python, and other AWS services in our data lake.

What You'll Do
- Maintain, improve, and build upon our already established BI infrastructure
- Develop and implement configuration code for our BI tools, and administer access and control
- Expand and improve on existing data modeling
- Deliver reports and dashboards for stakeholders from all departments in the organization
- Assist in the design and analysis of A/B tests throughout our products and departments
- Investigate and report anomalies using advanced statistical methods
- Find and exploit opportunities in our data, prescribing direction
- Write advanced SQL code for use in databases with multi-million to billion-row tables
- Test, optimize, troubleshoot and fine-tune database queries for maximum efficiency
- Design and write code for data transformations
- Take ownership of your reports, which directly guide stakeholders' decisions, small and large
- Directly impact the trajectory of organizational initiatives
- Develop custom solutions to meet the ever-growing need for data within the organization
Bring It!
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other STEM fields, or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of writing queries in SQL, or demonstrable experience/ability
- Demonstrable experience with applying basic and advanced statistical methods to data analysis
- Experience with or demonstrable understanding of data modeling
- Experience with version control systems, preferably git
- Experience with key scripting languages such as Python, R, or Bash preferred
- Knowledge of Linux and database systems, and basic network security
- Familiarity working with cloud computing technologies, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
