Job Description:
At Polygence, data is at the core of everything we do. As a Data Analyst, reporting to the Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data to offer invaluable insights and steer critical business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, grasp their data requirements, maintain data integrity, and produce reports and visualizations to empower them with the ability to make data-informed decisions.

What You’ll Do

Work with leaders across the business as a trusted partner on strategically important projects to guide decision-making

Investigate and interpret datasets to uncover business trends, performance, issues, and metrics, and communicate findings effectively to executives

Manage data requests, converting vague inquiries into actionable analyses, and prioritize competing data needs

Proactively identify and build business cases for areas of focus and prioritization -- that is, help us ask and answer the right questions with data

Promote data literacy within the organization, contributing to the establishment of accurate and accessible data resources

Push the bounds of our data richness and stability by partnering with product and engineering to create well-structured data sources and identify gaps in existing data.
Qualifications
-
1-3 years of relevant experience in data analytics

Fluent in SQL, advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, and some experience with a programming language such as Python or R
-
Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques

Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Looker

Flexible, excited to learn, and able to wear many hats within our small but mighty data team.
