Job Title: Data Analyst - Hybrid - Atlanta
FLSA: Exempt
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for ongoing analysis of Safe-Guard databases, inbound and outbound data files and reports to ensure data quality and data integrity. The Sales Analytics team maintains an enterprise database, joining various data sources both internally and externally, which feeds into various reporting platforms used daily by field sales and executive personnel. The reporting suite is critical in supporting our data driven sales strategy and helps our management team and clients to develop ongoing strategy. The role requires a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering data accuracy to both external clients and internal data users while being able to apply creative problem solving to meet the needs of end users.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor enterprise data consistency and data integrity
- Modify and build out new Power BI dashboards and reporting to support internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to source and define data which feeds into the core database
- Develop and implement automated data quality control processes
- Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc data inquires
- Research new data sources, and analytical tools; contribute to new product development
- Monitor client data delivery schedules and ensure data accuracy
- Develop awareness of and familiarity with data issues and events affecting data quality
- Support development team members to understand the implication of data issues
- Design and implement data import/export processes using Microsoft technologies
- Document and communicate data issues in a timely manner
- Perform data issue root cause analysis and recommend appropriate short term and long term solution
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field required
- 2+ years Data Analyst experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with manipulating and interpreting large data sets required
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficiency
- Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex file structure
- Demonstrated knowledge of relation database concepts
- Being detail oriented, strong sense of urgency and value work quality rather than quantity
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with platforms such as Power BI, Tableau and Salesforce CRM preferred
- Experience with SQL preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
