Role
The Data Analyst is responsible for providing accurate, complete, timely and insightful reports and analysis used for business management and decision making. The Data Analyst works closely with department and/or functional managers to determine report requirements, build and update reports and quality test them prior to distribution.
Responsibilities
- Develops and deploys reporting and analysis that is accurate, complete and properly summarized to aid in management of business and management decision making. Responsible for extracting and summarizing data from corporate databases.
- Reviewing information included on the reports and providing management with clear and concise explanations of relevant trends and/or exceptions.
- Works with department and/or functional teams to correct issues when identified.
- Assists with report design and development. Tests reports and ensures that they perform as expected.
- Produces weekly, monthly, and quarterly trend and activity reports as well as other operational and management reports.
- Ensures that reports are produced per scheduled timelines for review by functional management teams.
- Produces ad-hoc reporting and support for projects as assigned.
Expectations
- Strong PC skills - excellent Excel knowledge, knowledge of PowerBI is helpful.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to summarize large amounts of complex data into management reports
- Knowledge of Oracle and other data analysis and financial software and tools
- Ability to problem solve to determine root causes of anomalies
- Understand and write reports using various software and tools
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Two (2) years Accounting/Finance/Business reporting and analysis experience

Reports to: Supervisor, Credit & Collections

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
