Summary
The Data Analyst provides project leadership and day to day management of resources related to custom applications, reporting, and Computer Aided Dispatch in a Public Safety and Security Environment. This position collaborates with other managers to ensure system integrations are kept up to date while prioritizing upgrades to existing applications
Responsibilities

• Manage and perform all traditional development activities, such as analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation consistent with established specifications and business requirements
• Develop innovative solutions to meet current and emerging needs of the client
• Perform error and stress scenarios; including troubleshooting production issues
• Lead design, code reviews, and enhancements
• Prioritize and manage work assignments to meet deadlines under a dynamic schedule; work outside of normal business hours may be required
• Collaborate on application architecture design and drive all projects to completion
• Work with business process owners to aid in the design of solutions and achieve key business objectives
• Translate business and design goals into usable solutions and translating highly complex concepts into language that can be understood by a variety of audiences

Requirements

• Microsoft C# .NET
• Microsoft VB .NET
• Web Services for system integration using the XML, SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI open standards
• Oracle and MS SQL Server Database
• SQL Server Reporting Services
• SAP Crystal Reports
• Migrating applications to current development standards

Highly Desired

• Proven ability to communicate with non-technical end users to gather requirements
• Demonstrated experience writing and executing functional specifications
• Experience with object-oriented analysis, design, and development
• Component Oriented Development, MSMQ, SOA, WCF fundamentals
• Familiarity with Unit/Regression Testing and Windows Server 2008-2016
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
• Must be able to succeed in a dynamic team environment
• Proven commitment to meeting customer needs
• Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent experience
