Data Analyst

W2/USC only

We are looking for a Data Analyst with hands-down wealth management knowledge to work with a client on product integration projects. The successful candidate will have strong investment product knowledge of various investment types and hands-on experience analyzing data from mutual fund or annuity companies, clearing firms (Pershing or NFS), and/or industry data aggregators (DST or DAZL) so it can be normalized with other firm data.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data from multiple industry sources
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts
• Work with project managers and management to prioritize business and information needs
• Define new process improvement opportunities

Skills

• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
• Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
