ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to add a Data Analyst to our data team; as part of this team, you will be responsible for data reporting, developing analytics and measurement tools, and driving initiatives that help optimize efforts across multiple business segments. You will own much of the Tableau dashboarding and ad hoc data requests. You will also ensure our data remains clean and accurate. You’ll work with the data team to gather requirements from departments across the company, design new dashboards, and incorporate feedback. This is a hybrid role, based out of our New York City office, with three days on-site. 

At Extend, you’ll:

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage and maintain reporting across various business initiatives.
• Define, implement, and monitor KPIs and success metrics across partner business teams.
• Identify trends, investigate drivers, and present findings to diverse stakeholders, articulating the "so what" by translating insights into strategic, actionable recommendations.
• Manage and resolve ad hoc data requests, developing new tools to automate repetitive tasks and reports.
• Maintain data integrity over time as data sources are added and refreshed.

THE CANDIDATE 

• 4+ years of previous experience within data analytics or business intelligence.
• Expertise using business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
• Experience in programming (Python or R preferred).
• The ability to synthesize information quickly to provide an independent and objective viewpoint, propose appropriate solutions, and drive meaningful change.
• The ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while producing high quality work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interpret the data and dashboards for those less technically inclined.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Drive for continuous improvements on a data sphere.
• Data curiosity – When you look at data or a visualization, do you ask yourself if the values make sense, or what could be causing something to stand out?
• Experience in payments is preferred but not required.

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on various factors which may include, but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications. You may be eligible to participate in Extend’s annual bonus plan, based on individual and organizational performance.
