Data Analyst
Job Description

As a Data Analyst on our Corporate Claims Team, you'll work with Data Developers and the Corporate Claims Team to help build and maintain our Claims data reporting systems by assisting with balancing, reconciling, and correcting data issues as they arise each month. In addition, you'll also focus on project work, monthly reporting management, and ad hoc reporting and analysis. The primary objective of this team is to ensure data is provided to business leaders and executives across the entire company
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:

Reconcile system data monthly
-
Communicate differences in monthly data feeds to IT and/or Divisional Leadership

Assist in the testing and implementation of new data feeds

Appropriately document data quality control processes
-
Create and manage monthly data reconciliation reports
-
Maintain product line data source listings for the Company

Research and coordinate project work, including researching operational efficiency opportunities

Assist with maintenance of our Claims Data dashboard for claims leaders, underwriters, and executives
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
-
Experience with Data Management Tools. I.e. Excel, PowerBI, SQL, ADE, Custom Data Warehouses

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes and applications

The ability to work with and analyze large quantities of data

Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or business-related field of study.
-
In lieu of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years of analytical work experience.

In lieu of a degree, a minimum of three years of analytical work experience.
