About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Finfare, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, tracking, and developing enterprise-wide metrics that drive our product and business strategies. You will collaborate closely with the Data Product Manager to understand reporting needs and act as the primary resource for designing and implementing key metrics across various verticals. Your expertise in data analysis and storytelling will be crucial in creating impactful reports and dashboards that facilitate informed decision-making.

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual who is creative, can connect insights across verticals, and excels in presenting data in a compelling and actionable manner.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and reporting requirements.
  • Gather, review, and analyze business data, including KPIs, financial reports, and other critical metrics using data analytics tools.
  • Serve as a liaison between various business departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding data visualization projects, processes, and operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests and lead special projects as needed to support business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the Data Team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role, focusing on data analysis, fulfilling ad hoc reporting requests, and creating data visualizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Sigma Computing and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills to drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in FinTech is a plus but not required.

  • Previous experience in a fintech or data-intensive industry.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and techniques.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90k - 130k (depending on experience).
