In this position, you will be a key team member to our business, by leveraging your experience to develop positive working relationships with leading FinTech companies to execute the Bank’s strategic initiatives.

Job Summary

This position will report to the Manager/Sr. Manager, Risk Management & Analytics and will support all credit risk, analytics and reporting initiatives undertaken.

Primary Responsibilities

• Automate monthly reporting of the Bank’s portfolio with KPIs such as delinquencies, charge-offs, origination volumes, and paydowns
• Continually enhance reporting and business intelligence dashboards using tools such as Tableau to provide senior management visibility into current trends and help drive strategic decisions
• Assist in other strategic data related automation efforts across the Bank to increase process efficiencies
• Monitor data quality on a regular basis across existing and new Bank partners to ensure accurate reporting
• Support Business Development activity by ensuring correct reporting and data handling for a new partner/product launch
• Assess model methodologies (including technical issues as they relate to econometric / statistical methods), documentation, validation reports, performance outputs, and processes, and work with various industry leading Fintech lending and retail Bank partners to ensure appropriate model oversight, review and approval

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (with prior work experience preferred) or Master’s degree in any of the following fields - Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Financial Engineering, Physics, Engineering, Data Sciences or Computer Science
• Working knowledge of Tableau & SQL
• Knowledge of SAS, R & Python is a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in data analytics / reporting & business intelligence / modelling is preferred
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques such as GBM, Random Forest and ensembles of multiple nested regression techniques is preferred
• Data driven mindset, proactive engagement, and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent ability to analyze data and interpret credit performance metrics
