C.H. Robinson is seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join the Less Than Truckload (LTL) Analytics Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our business partners, providing regular reports, customized data visualizations, and actionable analytics. Responsibilities:

  • Extract and analyze data to address inquiries, collaborating with team members across the C.H. Robinson network
  • Conduct quality assurance testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), for reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Translate complex concepts into clear and professional presentations for diverse stakeholders
  • Provide data-driven insights to support and inform leadership and customers, aiding in data-informed decision-making
  • Present and deliver analytical insights through business intelligence tools, fostering collaboration to drive actionable results
  • Collaborate both functionally and cross-functionally to support other service lines, sharing insights and contributing to the team's overall success
  • Cultivate relationships and collaborate with internal analytical teams to jointly develop solutions
  • Leverage business knowledge to create custom reports tailored to specific needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to the creation of new reports by sharing insights and best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years previous analytics experience developing business solutions using comprehensive, robust data assets
  • Intermediate proficiency with SQL
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and Microsoft Office related tools (Powerpivot/PowerBI)
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn a programming language such as Python and/or R
  • Expert proficiency with T-SQL
  • Experience using advanced third-party analytical tools (Qlikview, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Organized individual with strong self and project management disciplines, including the ability to lead, facilitate, and influence
  • Comfortable working autonomously, but willingly seeks guidance
  • Proven ability to think creatively to develop a data model or perspective to answer challenging business problems or scenarios
  • Creates comfortable, open-minded conversations with those who seek information, guidance or analytical collaboration
  • Effective communicator and data/reporting/business liaison through multiple mediums
  • A willing teacher/mentor who also responds positively to feedback from leaders and colleagues
