Data Analyst

The Business Analyst is a key contributor to the Global Manufacturing Transformation and Strategic Operations team, providing coordination and oversight to portfolio data management, system organization, process governance and reporting. The role is collaborative in nature and has opportunity for development.

Your Day to Day:

• Provides ownership, guidance, coordination, and analysis for GOS Capital portfolio. This includes responsibilities for financial reporting requirements and business planning activities. Requires collaboration to confirm capital portfolio includes all initiatives coming into the Integrated Launch Process and Strategic planning
• Clearly evaluates and communicates commercial and planning requirements to all areas of the Global Operations organization
• Collaborates with Global Manufacturing sites SIOP, ILP, Manufacturing Implementation, Supply Chain and other partners within the broader organization
• Understands and can pressure test commercial/capital opportunities, challenge scope, cost estimates, schedules, and other project details for realistic organization impacts & funding needs
• Represents the Global Operating Services & Manufacturing sites on WEC-wide new product introduction or site operation impacts

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree with preference for a degree in data management or finance, (or relevant experience on one or more of these fields)
• Minimum 3 years in any combination of Operations Management., finance or operations. Preferred experience in the nuclear industry and demonstrated ability to manage programs and drive continuous improvement
• Knowledge of APQP or similar new product qualification / introduction process is beneficial. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is desirable

Skills:

• Cross-functional, working-level understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and program management (Cost, Schedule & Performance).
• Candidates should have SME level understanding of at least one of those areas.
• Able to utilize technology for data collection and reporting.
