Kyo is a leading provider of therapy for individuals with autism. Our core service is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a clinically proven form of therapy for autism.  We serve thousands of families across ten states and are growing rapidly to meet the need for services.  Each day, our team seeks to make every moment count for our clients and for each other. 

Reporting to the IT & Product Operations Director, the Data Analyst will play a lead role in the Kyo Technology Team responsible for managing Kyo’s data systems and our next generation consumer facing healthcare applications. Kyo is a bold, fast-moving, transparent, and values-driven organization engaged in one of the fastest-growing segments of healthcare.

LOCATION: This is a remote position, but must be a US citizen                  

BASE COMPENSATION: $85,000-$95,000 DOE


RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Coordinate with company leaders to analyze company metrics and design analytics reports for continued performance monitoring 
  • Extend and maintain existing data environment, including objects such as stored procedures, functions, and views
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly data reporting and risk mitigation activities
  • Maintain integrity of reporting infrastructure through oversight of essential data sources
  • Design, document, and continuously refine processes used across company’s data analysis functions
  • Function as the subject matter expert for Kyo’s Data environment
  • Build and own data pipelines, SQL queries/views, and apps
  • Optimize infrastructure for greater scalability
  • Develop ongoing metrics, analyses, and dashboards to guide important decisions

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, SSRS etc.
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of programming languages  (e.g. Java and Python)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL data warehouse design
  • Great numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and change management skills
  • Understanding of Data APIs and how to use them effectively as a data source
  • 2+ years with Data Warehousing and relevant professional experience in a data analysis or data engineer role
  • Bachelors in related field (computer science, software or computer engineering, applied math, physics, statistics, or a related field)
  • Experience building ETL data pipelines.
  • Experience writing SQL and a procedural language (Python, R, etc.) for data handling
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD build pipelines and version control frameworks like Git.
  • Excellent business analysis skills
  • Robust problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting skills

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Experience working with Object stores(S3) and JSON 
  • Good experience with AWS Services - API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ElasticSearch.
  • Proven experience with security best practices (HIPAA) through the entire lifecycle of data

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, and smell. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • The individual must be able to effectively work in a normal production environment where temperatures and noise levels may vary. 
  • Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.  
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as employee handbooks, training materials and procedure manuals.
