The Challenge
The Data Engineering team at Take-Two is looking for a capable Data Analyst to join our team and help develop and implement procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of our data. As Take-Two grows, we need to enable our business partners to expertly make decisions based on the vast amounts of data we have at our disposal. This role is critical to build and maintain trust in data. To ensure success in this role, the candidate should exhibit extensive knowledge of data analysis techniques and experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data analysis, data mining, data manipulation, and data visualization. In addition to analytical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent client-facing skills. The Data Analyst will work as part of multi-functional technical teams alongside business solutions analysts, data engineers and other team members to deliver impactful data solutions to challenging user and business problems/needs.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with data governance team to identify critical key data items that require close monitoring and controls, understand key risks, document complex system and business process data flows and automated controls.
- Perform data quality testing for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established data quality standards and attributes, including business logic testing, integration testing, remediation testing, and other testing as needed.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
- Designs, develops, and use repeatable automated tests and scripts.
- Use SQL, Excel, BI Platforms, and other analytics tools to analyze data from various sources, internal and external, to identify supported requirements, gaps, anomalies and special circumstances, business rules, and data management needs.
- Coherently present the results of analysis and findings to different levels of management, ranging from senior leaders to business unit managers and third parties
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in writing SQL (any variant) code efficiently.
- 2+years of work experience post completion of college degree is a must. This role is not open to individuals with only internship work experience.
- This role is not a Data Science focused and not appropriate for potential Data Scientists.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $110,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
