Fact: ALLO knows how to build. Since 2003, we've built the fiber optic network completely from scratch for seven of our fiberhoods. Since our pioneering days in the early 2000s, we've built up our team too, going from about 80 employees to more than 500 and our customer base exploded symmetrically. We've never thought of ourselves as the little guy and now we've got the numbers to prove our prowess and stamina in an often disappointing industry. That's why we're looking for an experienced Analyst to join our team.

Knowledge and experience are essential; we need someone who doesn't have to google SQL, Oracle, Crystal, and Python before the interview. Advanced fiber-optic knowledge isn't required, just a desire to learn, build and keep our future-focused business moving forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.
• Improve ALLO's performance by providing data-driven analysis results to drive strategic decision making.
• Provide strategic and defensible recommendations for improving our systems, processes, and strategies based upon findings supported by research and data analysis.
• Interact with all levels of the organization to facilitate analysis requirements and reporting needs.
• Analyze data for trends, correlations, and other key characteristics, and report findings.
• Develop reports and dashboards to communicate performance and deliver insight to customers while monitoring data quality issues.
• Continuously seek out opportunities to add value through process automation and programmatic solutions to manual tasks.
• Be proactive to customer needs and support the ALLO Management team as our primary customer.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of latest trends and best practices.
• Effectively present and discuss analysis and insights with customers in narrative or visual form.

Colorado Residents: typical pay range for this role will be from $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience.

EDUCATION:

• 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience needed

EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years of data analytics with proven track record of experience.
• Preferable to see examples or published work.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Technical skill-set
• Experience with data access and structuring tool(s) (e.g. SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Python)
• Experience with analysis and reporting dashboard software (e.g. DbVisualizer, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI)
• Experience in mining, cleaning, processing, and joining data from a variety of sources including SQL servers, AWS environments, internal systems, and flat files.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, charts and Pivot Tables
• Excellent oral/written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to conceptualize and analyze complex business processes.
• Negotiation, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to define and achieve business goals and deadlines while working both independently & collaboratively.
• Customer-focused philosophy.
