Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $68,500.00 - $104,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to perform report development and data analysis that help business lines obtain information needed to make strategic & tactical decisions to grow revenue and/or reduce expense. This position identifies opportunities for process automation and enhancements to existing reporting to keep pace with their business clients' changing needs and improve overall efficiency.

Essential Functions

  • Develop reporting solutions and process automation for Enterprise Analytics clients to support strategic decision-making and to meet regulatory requirements
  • Develop reporting, dashboard, and visualization solutions in SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Power BI
  • Create database queries using SQL on Teradata and other relational databases or big data environments
  • Model semantic layers for business intelligence tools between data sources and reporting levels
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through process automation
  • Collaborate with IT partners to facilitate the secure movement and accurate storage of data
  • Perform requirements gathering with internal business line partners to understand client's needs
  • Perform analysis of key business line and enterprise metrics for management
  • Create process documentation and perform code/process reviews
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required

  • Working knowledge of SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, or other business intelligence software
  • SQL query development skills
  • Strong understanding of relational databases
  • Exposure to data modeling or data architecture concepts
  • Foundational knowledge of Python preferred
  • Strong problem-solving ability, creativity to interpret design requirements, and understanding of logical process flow
  • Ability to leveraging education, colleagues, self-initiative, and training opportunities to develop solutions
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to individuals of various backgrounds and levels of knowledge.
  • Ability to influencing others in both verbal and written communication
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Exposure to Workday reporting development preferred

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2+ years experience in Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar position required
  • Experience developing SAP Business Objects universes preferred
  • Experience with talent data, people data, or Human Resources Management Systems data strongly preferred

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $68,500 to $104,000 annually. Depending on the job level, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
