Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with a strong background in data transformation to drive process improvements, optimize production workflows, and enable data-driven decision-making. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage data for increased efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced operational insights across our manufacturing operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Collection & Transformation: Design and implement data collection processes within manufacturing operations, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and usable for analysis.
• Process Optimization: Utilize statistical analysis, simulation, and lean manufacturing principles to analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, production, and engineering teams to translate raw data into actionable insights and automated reporting systems.
• System Integration: Collaborate with software and IT teams to integrate data from MES system into a centralized analytics platform.
• Predictive Modeling: Develop predictive models to identify potential issues and optimize production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects, focusing on data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on data analysis and transformation.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python) and experience with MES systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

PREFERRED:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to ERP and MES systems.
• Experience in a capacity planning and supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment

SKILLS:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python) and experience with ERP or MES systems.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
• Visualization: Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create reports and dashboards.
