Role Description

The Inventory data team is creating a centralized, governed, enterprise repository for Client's inventory data. We identify the sources of inventory data, govern & cleanse the data, bring it into our repository, and work with Client's organizations to have them consume inventory data directly from us. This position is a Data Analyst role on the Enterprise Data Products Inventory team.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships and work closely with business team members and stakeholders to understand & document data requirements via data models, Functional Requirements Specifications & Source to Target Mapping (STM), along with other documentation.
• Work closely with business analysts and business customers to ensure information and integration requirements are clearly understood and resolve any conflicts.
• Analyze existing data sets to understand data quality, mapping and integration issues
• Enable the Inventory data engineering team to clearly understand data and system requirements so that development work is done correctly the first time - and on time
• Define test scenarios based on business processes and participate in integration testing when needed
• Work in close partnership with upstream (data producers) and downstream (data consumers) to understand and execute test cases
