We are seeking an energetic self-starter that combines an analytical mind with creative problem-solving skills to use data to drive success. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Data and Analytics, the analyst will collaborate with our various business and product teams to support them in driving data discovery, insights, and reporting. The role will require experience and comfort in raw SQL queries and the development of Tableau reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate has experience driving business analyses and delivering actionable insights for the execution and measurement of product initiatives. LOCATION: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, or San Francisco/Bay Area

Hybrid schedule visiting our Los Angeles, Las Vegas or San Francisco office 2-3 times a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain standardization in data, metrics, and dashboards in Tableau and Excel for business/product stakeholders leadership teams that will help drive critical business decisions.
Ensure consistency, reliability, and quality of all standard reports.
Utilize and enhance OLAP cubing for enterprise analytics within reporting tools.
Implement automated reporting for weekly and monthly reporting cadence.
Work closely with Data Engineering to understand our holistic analytics pipeline
Support product teams with in-depth research on performance and deliver data insights across all digital touchpoints.
Act as an analytics expert and evangelist to share knowledge with colleagues throughout the business.
Communicate effectively with managers to identify and address areas for improvement.
Fully understand the source and structure of the raw tracking data in order to ensure that it remains reliable for analysis purposes.
Partner with various cross-functional teams to provide insights and feedback into the “why” behind the data and propose recommendations for improvement.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and document both high level and detailed business requirements and business process flows for unifying understandings across the org.
Uncover trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve performance.
Collaborate and influence internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Analyze A/B and multivariable testing with messaging, imagery, and audience groups.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative area such as math, statistics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience working in roles like product data analyst or business intelligence engineer with product managers, business groups, and data engineers
Experience working with the Data Engineering team (similar teams) to understand the backend analytics events system
Proficient in working with SQL, Python and large datasets.
Experience working with internal partners to collect requirements and present analytical findings.
Advanced skills in Excel and data visualization tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Project management skills (e.g., setting priorities/milestones, communication, follow-through, time management, and ability to build effective partnerships).
Superb oral and written communication skills with an ability to present insights and recommendations.
The ability to use data to influence business decisions.
An “owner” personality and “can do” attitude: You’re a true believer in the work you drive and are biased towards action.
Experience working on ETL and Data Modeling (Databricks, Spark, AtScale and DBT is a huge plus)
