Company Description

Candidates must live in Medellin, Colombia and we prefer daily office visits but may consider a hybrid option based on your skills. You MUST be a Citizen of Colombia or require no sponsorship.

For this role, you’ll be in the life sciences division which specializes in supporting the global development and commercialization of drugs, treatments, and devices designed to improve and save lives. Our client’s comprehensive solutions include eTMF and eClinical technologies, paper TMF migration, pharmacovigilance and safety solutions, translation and language services, and call center support.

Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in collecting, transforming, and analyzing data from various sources to provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design data pipelines, and develop analytical solutions that drive value and drive performance.

• Automating feeds from multiple data sources.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data.
• Leveraging APIs to enable central reporting.
• Writing SQL/MySQL scripts to create automated data feeds.
• Leveraging R and/or Python for advanced analytics.
• Leveraging AI/ML to automate insights and actions for sales and marketing.
• Make recommendations for data collection/quality improvements in CRM and work with CRM owner to implement CRM solutions.
• Deliverables in collaboration with a visualization specialist will include dashboards and reporting for:
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities
  • Scoring and prioritizing accounts for sales and marketing
  • Identifying buying committee trends
  • Identifying warm accounts in need of action
  • Performance analysis on digital advertising, email campaigns, website traffic and engagement, etc.
  • Analysis on most and least successful campaigns
  • Client/prospect segmenting based on funnel engagement 
  • Budgeting

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of data analyst experience working with sales/marketing data. 
• Ability to use R or Python and write SQL scripts (ideally SQL code).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and familiarity with data integration techniques and best practices.
• Advance data analytical skills and experience using statistical analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau to extract insights from complex datasets.
• A Life Sciences background is highly preferred but not required. 
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (SugarCRM a plus).
• A minimum of C1 Level English. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills are a must.
• Experience combining and comparing multiple data sets from different sources. 
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams. 
• Adaptable - able to wear many hats to make an impact in many areas.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, with a preference for Data Analysis/Data Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, or other relevant fields.
• Master in Business Analytics preferred.
