Overview

We’re excited to be looking for a Data Analyst, Marketing to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our Manager, Data Analytics, you will play an integral role in marketing-related decisions by providing data-driven insights and recommendations through analysis, experimentation and data visualization.

What you’ll do

  • Develop reports and dashboards in Looker, enabling all cross-functional teams to easily access data specific to marketing and customer performance 
  • Perform ad hoc analyses that will help us understand and optimize the impact of marketing spend within and across marketing channels 
  • Assist the analytics/data team with updates to our data architecture and ETL process 
  • Support the Marketing team(s) in designing and analyzing experiments to ensure the team makes data-informed decisions 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to facilitate shared learning and cross fertilization of ideas and knowledge 

We’re looking for someone who brings

  • 2-3 years of data analytics experience; some experience in marketing analytics is preferred 
  • A background in SQL and data visualization (Looker, Tableau, Mode, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or other big data environments 
  • A great track record working with cross-functional teams 
  • Experience working with marketing, retention/CRM data and stakeholders is a plus! 
  • Experience with DBT/data modeling is a plus! 
  • A good sense of prioritization and comfortability asking questions are essential 
  • A solution oriented mindset paired with a passion for developing data-informed recommendations

Compensation & Benefits

At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is between $100-110K. 

Beyond base salary, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbour match, grant a $1K annual wellness bonus, have commuter benefits, and also provide a yearly product allowance. 

We have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, year-long Summer Fridays, a workday that starts at 10 am, four weeks of vacation, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
