Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a detail-oriented, methodical and collaborative Data Analyst that is experienced in MS Access Programming. The Data Analyst will be in charge of developing MS Access applications to extract, analyze, and interpret RMA data in order to generate reports for operational and quality assurance needs.

This position will be based out of our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Importing data from Microsoft Excel and SQL server to Microsoft Access
• Performing data extract / report with MS Access with other agency system as necessary
• Cleaning up unused/redundant data to make MS Access application with faster execution
• Programming in VBA to automate data extraction and report
• Testing MS Access database functions/processes/reports to ensure all work as expected
• Sharing MS Access database for online / mobile access
• Providing specific user data and report in details to management as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of application programming experience
• Extensive Advanced experience in MS Access Office 365 and Microsoft Visual Basic
• Excellent skills in MS-Access and in MS-Excel, with specific understanding of macro creation
• Working knowledge of SQL data, with specific understanding of macro programming
• Expertise in complex macros/formulas and ability to parallel test the new application against old application to ensure successful migration
• Must have US work authorization, no OPT or H-1B sponsorship
