Position Overview

The Data Analyst, Operations Engineering primarily provides technical support to a large operating fleet of renewable energy projects by transforming data into actionable insights & business intelligence, administering support for analytics tools and platforms, optimizing fleet performance, and guiding data-driven decisions.

Core Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional administrative & operational needs for digital data & analytics platform
• Collaborate closely with operations engineering, asset management, and site technician teams
• Curate metrics, KPI’s, and reports that transform equipment information into operational intelligence 
• Manage recurring reporting processes and identify actionable items
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to quantify energy and revenue impact from operational events
• Design and maintain dashboards to drive actionable insights 
• Support regulatory reporting requirements such as NERC GADS 

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, engineering preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with utility-scale wind, solar, natural gas, or battery storage technology and operations
• Familiarity with the OSIsoft PI software suite
• Familiarity with database environments & query languages (SQL preferred)
• Familiarity with Python or other programming experience
