EquipmentShare is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our People Analytics team as an entry-level analyst. This position is ideal for those who have a foundational understanding of data handling and are eager to facilitate the smooth operation of analytics projects within a dynamic team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the organization and scheduling of project meetings and documentation, ensuring effective communication across the team.
• Support data analysts in managing workflows, maintaining databases, and handling correspondence related to ongoing projects.
• Learn about various data analytics tools and methods through hands-on involvement in projects and shadowing senior team members.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations, enhancing your skills in data visualization and reporting.
• Engage with team members on multiple levels, from technical experts to senior leadership, gaining insights into the strategic role of data analytics in business decisions.
• Prepare and analyze financial data, such as GL and capitalizations reports, when there are questions from different partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with different teams and partners to produce the reports.

Skills & Qualifications 

• 1+ years professional experience preferred
• SQL or Python experience preferred
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data management and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience or basic knowledge of accounting and finance is preferred
