About the Role:

GoHealth is looking for an Analytics Associate to join our Revenue department, as part of the broader Actuarial, Revenue, and Analytics “ARA” team. You will be responsible for using a combination of business acumen and analytic techniques, including statistics, to develop robust revenue forecasts, KPIs, and exception reporting. Candidates should have a keen problem-solving ability and statistical mindset, as well as a willingness to undertake any task. Some current and recent projects include 13-week revenue forecast, cash-in attribution, exception (“issue”) reporting, customer insights, and detection of anomalies in revenue and customer data. This role will report directly to our Director, Revenue and Analytics.

About the Team:

The Revenue team is comprised of a unique set of Finance, Accounting, and Analytic individuals, partnering with our Actuarial and Data Science teammates, to deliver accurate revenue and customer reporting to GoHealth executives and senior leaders.

What you will do:

• Become an expert in GoHealth’s business processes, especially as it pertains to revenue and customers across each business unit
• Build models that forecast revenue and cash, as well as exception reporting, and other revenue-related workbooks which allow the team and business leaders to make business decisions
• Build reporting models, based on actual commission and customer data, for daily P&Ls, book of business, and commission tracking
• Collaborate with business leaders across all business units, Captive, Non-Captive, Encompass Connect, and Enterprise Solutions
• Continually think of new ways data-based insights can help support GoHealth’s processes and improve decision-making
• Communicate analytical insights, both verbally and visually
• Compile complex data sets from a variety of sources
• Identify additional data sets that can drive strategy, improve decision making, and automate processes

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitatively focused field
• Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL with the ability to write complex scripts and queries
• Proficient with Tableau, developing complex calculated fields, workbooks, and visualizations
• A keen ability to problem solve and identify issues, as well as navigate large data sets that at times require data manipulation and cleansing
• Proven ability to take insights and turn them into actionable steps that can drive business value
• Desire to improve upon current skills and learn new ones
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight
