Data Analyst Section Head

PetroApp, a leading company in the automotive technology sector, is looking for a skilled and strategic Financial Data Analyst Section Head to join our dynamic finance team. As the Financial Data Analyst Section Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial data analysis team, guiding strategic initiatives, and enhancing financial data intelligence to support decision-making at all levels within the organization.

In this leadership role, you will manage financial analysis functions, ensure data integrity, and implement best practices for data management. You will work closely with senior management to drive financial performance and optimize business strategies through detailed analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of financial data analysts to provide insights and reports that support decision-making processes.
• Oversee the production of regular financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations to define financial performance and strategic initiatives.
• Implement and manage best practices in data governance, data quality, and financial analysis methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and analytics that drive business performance.
• Develop financial models and scenarios to assess business opportunities, risks, and future financial impacts.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends in financial analysis and data analytics, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance data-driven decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools/software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI).
• In-depth understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the technology or SAAS is a plus.
