In this multifaceted position, you will help drive business decisions by working with a variety of stakeholders including Product, Software, and Physician Editor teams using informed data analytics.

Our ideal candidate has strong quantitative and analytical skills, enjoys working with SQL/SAS and has strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• The Data Analyst I will assist with organizing and analyzing health care data for guideline development, benchmarking, and management reporting.
• Responsible for portions of large, complex data analysis projects, including
  
  • Ability to work and solve problems independently
  • Initial selection of analytical techniques
  • Data quality assessment and remediation
  • Preparation of final report
  • Technical documentation and archiving of files

• Identify and drive process improvement in data aMnalytics/SQL

Skills & Experience:

• Related bachelor's degree (mathematics, statistics or other major requiring strong quantitative skills); strong academic record; master's degree is a plus
• Strong knowledge of and experience with SAS and SQL

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Demonstrated ability to work concurrently on diverse projects. Maintain high standards for accuracy, professionalism, productivity and confidentiality.
• Collaborative, team player mentality with a passion for using data to inform decisions
• Knowledge of analytic techniques and metrics used in analysis of healthcare service data, including knowledge of healthcare data coding systems and common administrative data formats is a plus
• Experience with health care data and coding systems (ICD, CPT-4, HCPCS, DRG) is a plus
