Job Description
SixGen is looking to hire a Data Analyst to join our team. As a data analyst you will be responsible for identifying and developing methods to gather data, research, and documentation for complex analysis and visualization projects. You will be required to support program managers with developing automated analytical tools, dashboards related to analysis, and documenting best practices.
To excel in this role, you will need to maintain data catalog/inventory to the complete understanding of the data set (data description, meta data, data quality/confidence) and leverage data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI etc) to support metrics trend analysis to support Data Governance and Steward meetings, along with projects and other reports.
Clearance:
TS/SCI (eligible for CI Poly)
Requirements
Relevant experience includes one of more of the following areas:
Working knowledge of data visualization tools, data policy implementation, data analysis of mission operations and strategic planning
Ability to work with senior analysts on database models and/or large warehouses
Both Individual and Team working environments
Ability to collaborate and process data sets across different areas of the organization in data analytics projects
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear and detailed documentation
Proficient in the use of information technology and standard Microsoft office software applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED plus 6-8 years of exp
Bachelor's Degree with 4-6 years of data analyst exp
Masters Degree or PhD may be substituted for 2 years of exp.
