Data Analyst w/ Power Platform

Job Description

Context / team / project 
- Integrate into our Data Team (ETL, Data Management, BI), working together with NY Data Office, Paris and Porto team members, as a unique team, and help Porto to upskill on this practice.

Years of Experience: 
• > 5 years 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and challenges around data analytics, data reconciliation, and Power Platform solutions.
• Translate these requirements into a data workflow, dashboards and/or applications solutions making use of Alteryx and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Working closely with business analysts, data scientists, data engineers and developers.
• Analyze, estimate, and define tasks necessary deliver the data and power platform projects. 
• Drive insights to answer business questions with data and visualizations, transforming data into actionable insights.
• Maintain and do the evolution of created assets during the projects.

Qualifications

Main Technical Requirements:

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math, or a similar area;
• Experience in data workflow creation (data preparation and data reconciliation) in Alteryx or similar data analytics tools, for example Dataiku, Knime, etc.
• Experience with Business Intelligence - Data visualization tools, mainly Power BI;
• Experience to develop and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate solutions;
• Good knowledge about SQL.

Other Requirements:

• Good level of English - minimum B2
• Able to be quickly autonomous, proactive
• Desire to learn more about new technologies as Power Platform and Dataiku.
• A real passion for learning, doing things better and helping others;
• Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, as required

Nice to have:

• Previous experience on financial area will be a big plus
• Knowledge in agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban);
• French is a big plus
