Data Analytics and AI Engineering platform Lead

We are looking for an accomplished technical leader to oversee architecture, development, and delivery of our advanced data analytics infrastructure and platforms in AWS.

This critical role will lead high-performing teams to build data lake platform and work with data engineers to deliver data products that enable business insights through analytics, machine learning, and AI. Leading skilled data engineers, you will oversee efficient design and development of robust data pipelines, architecture, infrastructure, warehousing, machine learning and data platforms on AWS. Your team will build accessible, secure, and well-governed data warehouses and data products that power analytics use cases through easy-to-use APIs, dashboards, and UIs

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead data engineer to collaborate with data scientists and business teams to understand analytics and AI infrastructure needs.
• Oversee design and development of efficient serverless data lake, using infrastructure on AWS.
• Build data distribution platform, to enable stakeholders securely and easily accessible data products leveraging orchestration in AWS.
• Lead engineering of ELT pipelines to structure, process, and deliver quality data to end users using APIs.
• Continuously monitor and improve pipeline data quality, performance, and data product reliability
• Lead and develop sustainable data driven solutions with current new gen data technologies to meet the needs of our organization and business customers.
• Master new technologies rapidly as needed to progress varied initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years' experience with AWS Cloud data platforms
• Application development or database development experience in financial markets.
• Cloud platform development using Lambda and database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle etc.
• Strong experience with AWS services S3, IAM, Lambda, Dynamo db, Glue, redshift etc.
• Intermediate to Advanced Python and Terraform skills
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in AWS Glue / Pyspark

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Exposure with AI platforms and LLMs and AWS certifications in Databases and analytics is a plus.

Base Pay Range: $143,600/yr. - $209,900/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
