Data Analytics Associate II (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office - VA)

Position Overview:

Centralized Reporting and Data Analytics (CRDA) is looking for someone who enjoys redefining data into insights! The ideal candidate has a passion for data analysis, technology and helping people improve the technology to transform their business and reporting processes. As a Data Analytics Professional, you will be part of a multi-functional team supporting various teams across the Division by linking data and reporting capabilities to provide innovative reporting and analysis solutions to support the achievement of strategic goals.

Our Impact:

Reporting and Data Analytics (CRDA) provides Data Delivery support for Freddie Mac Single-Family line of business. The CRDA is a multi-functional team supporting various teams across the Division by linking data and reporting capabilities.

Your Impact:

• Participation in the full life cycle of a project, which includes identification of requirements, prototype, design, development, testing and implementation

• Acting as liaison between the business area and technical team and act as the domain authority for assigned project(s)

• Perform data profiling and data blending by combining relevant data from multiple data sources using SQL, SAS, Python and Snowflake

Qualifications:

• BS/BA Degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS or related field

• 1-3 years of experience developing analytics reporting solutions using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, or comparable BI software

• Knowledge of data blending or ETL tools such as SQL, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, SAS, or Python

• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling and machine learning is a plus

• Ability to use various data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be visualized in a Business Intelligence tool

• Prior UX/UI design experience (knowledge of reporting and dashboard best practices, visual standards, etc.) a strong plus

• Ability to perform data discovery and find patterns and relationships in data

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

• Must be a teammate and able to work closely with and through others

• Interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask; Prioritizing assignments and working independently to ensure work is completed on schedule and meets customer expectations

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $65,000 - $97,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
