Job Description

Data Analytics Consultant positions exist within the Continuous Improvement team, which is responsible for supporting all operations teams across Global Money Movement & Compliance (GMM&C) and Wage Payments. Within GMM&C, this includes US Money Movement (Financial Compliance, Treasury Banking Operations, and Trust Accounting), International Money Movement, and Risk & Compliance. Within Wage Payments, this includes Payments Services, Payments Operations, and Fraud Prevention.
Data Analytics Consultants support various operational teams through querying and reporting of data relevant to the day-to-day operations, analysis of data related to trending and correlation, and creating tools to enable associates and leadership the necessary access to critical data for decision-making.
This Data Analytics Consultant position is primarily allocated to support the USMM operational teams.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Support for existing reports/tools providing data to associates and leadership for both day-to-day and long-term decision-making.
  • Clarifying business needs from users across many operational teams, departments and business units.
  • Accumulation of data from multiple/various source systems.
  • Assembly and maintenance of databases, including management of user access.
  • Generation of recurring reporting and dashboard views enabling operational and strategic decision-making by associates and leadership.
  • Training key stakeholders related to data input, processing, and/or reporting, as applicable.
  • Performing analysis of various operational data, key performance indicators, and critical business measures.
  • Managing large data sets from multiple sources and integration into SQL server for analysis and data visualization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Experience with data analysis including trending and correlation, particularly related to accounting/finance and operational metrics
  • Experience with data collection, wrangling, cleansing (eg. Tableau Prep, Python, SQL, Server Integration Services, Visual Studio, other ETL tools)
  • Experience with database design, creation, and maintenance (eg. MS Access, SQL, MySQL, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with data report generation and data visualization tools (eg. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with creation and presentation of decks in PowerPoint

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to the following
  • Master's or advanced degree with a concentration focus in business analytics, data science, or data analysis
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with data analysis including trending and correlation, particularly related to accounting/finance and operational metrics
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with data collection, wrangling, cleansing (eg. Tableau Prep, Python, SQL, Server Integration Services, Visual Studio, other ETL tools)
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as DataBricks
  • Experience with web application design and interface

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

California salary range for this role is $43,900 - $89,200 / Year
