Data Analytics Engineer Intern

The BI/BI OPs team is a central data management that implements an efficient/scalable system of schemas and tables to optimize transforming data from its raw form in Snowflake, into clean and documented datasets for use by analytics stakeholders.

This is a remote internship at Smartsheet, based in the USA. You will report to a Smartsheet Manager for 12 weeks over the summer months. The rate of pay for this role is $30.00 hourly.

You Will:

• Develop enriched tables in Snowflake to streamline operations, inform strategic priorities, and develop product insights.
• Collaborate with BI team members in the creation of enrichments and data products.
• Work on a variety of initiatives to improve the data architecture of our analytics data lake.

You Have:

• Skills in computer science or a data science degree.
• Worked with or taken courses on supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
• Familiarity with working with cloud databases (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc).
• This internship requires US work authorization or Legal authorization to work in the United States.
