What You'll Get to Do
CACI is seeking a data and analytics lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of analytics solutions for a large federal program through collaboration with both strategy and analytics-focused teams. The Analytics ART will be primarily responsible for identifying business needs and gathering requirements for data analysis (or deployment of existing advanced analytics solutions) and BI tools, as well as managing analytics workflow and ensuring quality of the team's output.
The selected candidate will:
- Scope & deliver projects with minimal guidance
- Manage risks while exceeding client needs/anticipating future requirements
- Proactively and autonomously guide case teams and clients in selection of solution approach, including description of expected deliverables and effort / delivery timeframe
- Deploy own and (working) team's time and resources in an efficient, cost-conscious manner with case team to ensure that scope & timelines are feasible
- Establish oneself as an expert in at least one business domain or analytics topic
- Serve as a SME in at least one business domain or analytics topic for case/topic teams
- Act as Brand ambassador for analytics within CACI (proposals, demos, PoCs, networking with case teams, etc.)
- Develop extensive market content and drive commercialization of analytics topics /capabilities
- Provide mentorship to their own/working (i.e., project) team members while uniting multi-cultural teams with diverse skill sets
You'll Bring These Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master's degree in field linked to business analytics, statistics, or economics, operations research, applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field required (advanced degree preferred)
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience with Big Data applications, such as Hadoop and associated applications (e.g., administration, CM, monitoring, performance tuning, etc.)
- Experience working in a mission Data Exploitation environment (e.g., acquiring data, storing data, processing data, analyzing data, visualizing data, turning data into intelligence products, disseminating data, and knowledge management)
- Familiarity with futuristic SAP BI solutions and roadmaps (including SAC and CPI)
- Experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint or Maximo
- Demonstrated strength in analytical solutioning - possessing notable hands-on experience in advanced analytics delivery, through the entire life cycle of analytics skills (with the ability to develop and codify knowledge and provide analytical advice where required)
- Experience leading a team that includes data engineers
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Experience supporting a cloud computing environment (e.g., private, hybrid, and/or public); Experience leading major programming/scripting languages like Java, Linux, C++, PHP, Ruby, and/or Python
- Experience working with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, and/or Pentaho; Experience designing solutions for multiple large data warehouses with cluster and parallel architecture as well as high-scale or distributed platforms
- Experience in the research and development of applications/services in disciplines such as: Natural Language Processing, ML, Conceptual Modeling, Statistical Analysis, Predictive Modeling, and Hypothesis testing
