Data Analytics Manager

As the Data Analytics Manager at Swyftx, you will lead a team of data specialists to unify data, establish robust data governance practices, and leverage advanced analytics and AI to derive actionable insights. Your role is crucial in transforming raw data into strategic assets, driving data-driven decisions, and fostering a culture of analytics within the organisation. 

Please note this is a Brisbane-based role, and we offer hybrid working with Wednesdays and Fridays in our beautiful Milton office. 

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Strategic Insights: Drive strategic business decisions by delivering actionable insights and recommendations. 
• Dashboard & Report Management: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and track progress against goals. 
• Data Visualisation: Communicate insights and findings effectively through clear and impactful visualizations. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, support, product, R&D, and IT teams to align data insights with business objectives. 
• Advanced Analytics:Utilise advanced analytics techniques and AI to generate predictive insights and identify trends in business behavior. 
• Team Leadership: Act as a role model for building an engaged, high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team. 

To be successful you will have:

• Significant experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or a related role involving the development of data models and databases in a rapidly scaling business environment. 
• Strong business acumen and commercial instincts, with the ability to allocate data resources and prioritise data initiatives based on their impact on the business. 
• The ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, ensuring messages are concise, articulate, and impactful using the most appropriate methods. 
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team, establish clear priorities, and drive results in a dynamic environment. 
• Proficiency in DAX, SQL, Python, and R for creating complex calculations, data models, custom scripts, and transforming large datasets. 
• Advanced skills in Power Query to ensure accurate and ready-to-analyse data. 
• Expertise in creating compelling data visualisations and interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI. 
• Experience with AI and machine learning techniques to build predictive models and automate insights would be beneficial but not essential.
